Running a B&B can be a grueling and demanding vocation. The hours are long, the work is physically taxing. But the opportunity to meet fascinating people from around the world is what makes it all worthwhile.
We thoroughly enjoy introducing guests to the beauty and history of the region, promoting the wine trails, pointing out local attractions, guiding guests in their restaurant selections-basically whatever is needed to ensure that all our guests leave with fond memories and an enhanced appreciation of this magnificent area. When a guest takes the time to correspond with us after they return home, I know we have
succeeded.

have changed our minds. We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful
home. The company, the hospitality and the facilities were 4-star. The

Dear Donna and Hugh,
Just a note of thanks for the most enjoyable weekend we all spent with
you. You were most gracious and hospitable and patient to put up with
all of our American/Canadian jokes and antics. The rooms were great, and
the breakfasts were delicious (thank you for accommodating our two fussy
15-year old daughters.) We hadn't been to the Finger Lakes in many
years. Now we won't make it so long before our next visit. The wineries
were amazing and plentiful. We are likely to rendezvous again next
summer at Yale Manor.

Dear Donna & Hugh,
I stayed with you in April with my daughter and friend. As you may have
known, my wife had died of breast cancer five months earlier, and we
were on our way to a memorial service in her hometown. As you might
imagine, it wasn't a great weekend for me, and the thought of holding a
second funeral ceremony wasn't something I was looking forward to. My
time at Yale Manor was like being in a different world. I felt as
relaxed as I'd been in months, and it was the perfect way to prepare for
the painful weekend. The weekend wasn't as painful as I expected, and
you deserve at least partial credit by starting it off right.

We came to your lovely B&B in great need of rest and relaxation, and
found your home to be a wonderful setting for both. From your very first
greeting, Mike and I felt welcomed and at ease. We greatly appreciated
the time that you took to advise us on the best local offerings, and
enjoyed many meals and outings as a result.
Our vacation was greatly influenced by your kindness (not to mention
